Back in the Yukon0

Apparently only living in the Yukon means writing blog posts. There’s something in the air or the water that inspires me I guess.

After 5 days in Vancouver presenting at Congress 2008 - Association for Nonprofit and Social Economy Research and spending each and everyone of those days in constant rain, I picked up and headed to Whitehorse once again.

I was snowing when I landed.

Okay, so it’s now FREEZING cold and raining all the time (apparently it’s 21 degrees and sunny in Dawson). And I had to bike into town today blah blah blah. The weather is rather depressing.

Okay I have maintenance work on this blog to do and some serious work on my thesis still. I’m presenting my results at the Yukon College tomorrow which will be the last of a long line of presentations and then working on an article for the Northern Review journal.

Seriously, though, I’m going to do that now. I’m going. For real.
